The FM120 is a three-point flail mower for tractors from 25 to 40 hp, built for road verges, orchard and vineyard floors, field edges and rough grass where a rotary deck throws stones and leaves an uneven finish. Twenty-two hardened steel hammers on a balanced rotor shred grass, scrub and prunings instead of cutting them, and throw the material down rather than sideways.
The full-width rear roller sets the cutting height between 10 and 30 mm and leaves a pressed, even finish — useful on sloped ground where wheels alone would scalp. Drive is through twin belts with a tensioner; a shear-bolt on the PTO shaft protects the gearbox when the rotor hits something solid.
Hitch is standard Category I. Typical buyers are municipalities, road maintenance contractors and orchard farms.
