The LB500-24V is a remote-controlled tracked slope mower built for ground that is too steep or too hazardous for a riding mower. Running on batteries, it produces no engine noise and no exhaust, so it can be used in residential areas, near hospitals and schools, and at night.
The operator works from a handheld remote control at up to 200 m and stays on flat, safe ground while the machine cuts on slopes of up to 45 degrees. That single feature is the reason buyers choose this machine: it removes the operator from the rollover, slip and thrown-object risks that make steep-slope mowing one of the most accident-prone jobs in grounds maintenance.
The 500 mm cutting deck handles grass, brush and light shrub growth up to 70 mm, at roughly 2000 m2 per hour. A 9 hp engine keeps the machine moving at 5 km/h over uneven ground, and the self-generating electrical system means no external power supply is required on site.
Typical applications: highway and railway embankments, river dikes and levees, orchard inter-rows, vineyard slopes, solar farm ground cover, airport and industrial perimeters, and municipal green space where hand-trimming is currently the only alternative.
