The ZT1000 is a steering-wheel ride-on mower built for parks, estates, camping grounds and municipal green space where a walk-behind mower is simply too slow. The 1020 mm twin-blade cutting deck covers roughly 4000 m2 per hour, so a one-hectare site takes about two hours including turning time.
A 15.5 hp single-cylinder petrol engine drives through a hydrostatic (Hydro-Gear) transmission, letting the operator match ground speed to grass conditions instead of shifting gears. Cutting height is set from the driver's seat in seven steps between 30 and 90 mm, and the deck works in side-discharge form or with an optional 300 litre rear collector for collected-cut contracts.
The seat, steering column and deck are all accessible for routine service, and common wear parts (blades, belts, spindles) are stocked for export. Typical buyers are landscape contractors, camp sites, golf practice grounds and municipal parks departments.
