The XHZC-160GF is a heavy-duty 160 kVA generating set rated 128 kW / 160 kVA at 60 Hz / 1800 RPM, built around a Dongfeng Cummins (DCEC) 6BTAA5.9-G12 engine and configured for 60 Hz markets (the Americas, the Caribbean and parts of Asia). It serves manufacturing plants, data centres, hospitals, mining sites and infrastructure projects where downtime is not an option.
The engine is coupled to a single-bearing brushless alternator with Class H insulation, IP23 protection and AVR voltage regulation, so output stays stable at 220-480 V even with motor starters and variable loads on the line. A Smartgen HGM6110 controller handles automatic start/stop, metering and alarm protection, and the set is started on a 24 V DC electric system.
Two configurations are available: open frame on a steel base fuel tank (approx. 2350 x 1000 x 1600 mm) and soundproof canopy (approx. 3000 x 1100 x 1700 mm) with a 350 L base tank. Both share the same engine, alternator and controller, so spare parts and service routines are identical.
