The XHZC-388GF is a heavy-duty 388 kVA generating set rated 310 kW / 388 kVA at 60 Hz / 1800 RPM, built around a Dongfeng Cummins (DCEC) 6ZTAA13-G3 engine and configured for 60 Hz markets (the Americas, the Caribbean and parts of Asia). It serves manufacturing plants, data centres, hospitals, mining sites and infrastructure projects where downtime is not an option.
The engine is coupled to a single-bearing brushless alternator with Class H insulation, IP23 protection and AVR voltage regulation, so output stays stable at 220-480 V even with motor starters and variable loads on the line. A Smartgen HGM6110 controller handles automatic start/stop, metering and alarm protection, and the set is started on a 24 V DC electric system.
Two configurations are available: open frame on a steel base fuel tank (approx. 2900 x 1300 x 1800 mm) and soundproof canopy (approx. 4000 x 1700 x 2000 mm) with a 700 L base tank. Both share the same engine, alternator and controller, so spare parts and service routines are identical.
Typical buyers are equipment dealers, contractors and end users in manufacturing plants, data centres, hospitals, mining sites and infrastructure projects. The configuration above is the standard export version; final specification is confirmed in the quotation.
